Prescribes rules on the metrological and technical requirements relating to weights of nominal mass of 100 kg to 5000 kg which are used for the verification of scales.

Weights should comply with the stipulated metrological and technical requirements.

National action - Weights are subject to initial and periodical verification. Valid Type Approval Certificate required.
