Scope of national rule
This Ordinance shall apply to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies with a maximum allowable pressure PS greater than 0,5 bar.
Main requirements that the business user needs to know about
Pressure equipment and assemblies may be made available on the market and put into service only if they meet the requirements of this Ordinance, when they are properly installed and maintained and used for the intended purposes. Pressure equipment must meet the basic safety requirements of Annex I to the Ordinance.
National rule
Marking and labelling and operating instructions must be in Croatian. The contact details of the manufacturer / importer must be in Croatian or in a language easily understood by consumers, other users and the competent inspection body. The enclosed instructions and safety data that accompany the pressure equipment or assemblies must be in the Croatian language. The EU declaration of conformity must be in Croatian or translated into Croatian. The conformity assessment body must be established in the Republic of Croatia and have legal personality. To a reasoned request from a competent national market surveillance authority, provide that authority with all the information and documentation necessary to demonstrate the conformity of the pressure equipment or assembly with this Ordinance, in a Croatian language or in a language which can be easily understood by that authority.
