Scope of application
Prescribes rules on the metrological and technical requirements for devices that determine the opacity of exhaust gases from compression engines with auto ignition.
Main requirements that the business user needs to know about
Smoke meters should comply with the stipulated metrological and technical requirements.
National action - Smoke meters are subject to initial and periodical verification. Valid Type Approval Certificate required.
